SAN ANTONIO – A man is recovering in the hospital Monday night after he was shot on San Antonio’s Northeast Side.
San Antonio police responded to the shooting in the 3700 block of Binz-Engleman Road around 6 p.m.

The victim, 33, was visiting a friend when police said another man in his 40 came to him and shot him. A bullet grazed the man’s nose and another hit him in the chest.
He was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center where he was expected to be OK.
Police said the gunman took off in a Dodge Charger.
