Several cars found with bullet holes in West Side neighborhood

Shooting reported at 6:30 a.m. Friday at intersection of Aurora, Alicia

SAN ANTONIO – A shooting Friday morning in a West Side neighborhood left several cars with bullet holes, residents said.

No injuries were reported in the shooting reported around 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of Aurora and Alicia.

A family who lives in the neighborhood told police that they went outside because they thought their dog had opened the gate to their yard.

Moments later, they heard several gunshots and saw a car drive away.

Police said they found 10 bullet casings and some parked cars damaged.

The family told officers they have had some problems recently with burglars and prowlers, police said.
