SAN ANTONIO – A fire at a Northwest Side hotel Wednesday morning forced the evacuation of guests.
The fire was reported around 9 a.m. at Baymont Inns and Suites on I-10 and Wurzbach Road.
Fire officials said the fire started in a hotel room on the first floor in the back of the building.
A stack of luggage was damaged, fire officials said.
An electrical problem is believed to have started the fire, officials said.
Damage to the hotel was estimated at around $40,000.
No injuries were reported.
