Father, son injured in NW Side apartment shooting

Police looking for 3 men

SAN ANTONIO – Two men were shot Tuesday night during an attempted robbery in their Northwest Side apartment, police said.

San Antonio police responded to the shooting at the Morgan Manor Apartments in the 7100 block of Oaklawn Drive just after 9:15 p.m.

When they arrived, police said they found two men – a father and son – shot inside the apartment.

The son, 24, was hit in the head and his father, 54, was shot multiple times in his torso.

Both men were taken to University Hospital. The son was in critical condition and the father suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

It is believed three men were trying to steal from the apartment.

Police are looking for the men, but did not have a description.
