Fugitive sees himself on KSAT, tells officers, 'Come get me'

Casey Jones, 27, accused of having sex with teenage girl

SAN ANTONIO – When the United States Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force asked for the public's help to find a fugitive, didn't know one of the calls it'd get to find him would come from the wanted man himself.

Casey Jones said Wednesday he saw himself on TV, then picked up the phone.

"I called them last night and told them, 'Come get me.' I was waiting for them to come get me," Jones said.

He was featured as a fugitive on KSAT-12 Tuesday on the NightBeat.

A warrant for Jones, 27, was issued after he was indicted in June on a charge of sexual assault of a child. Deputy Chris Bozeman said Jones had sex with a girl under the age of 17.

Jones was arrested on San Antonio's East side by the Bexar County Sheriff's Office Fugitive Apprehension Unit.

While being escorted in handcuffs to the magistrate's office, Jones addressed the charges against him.

"Be sure to tell your sons to ask them girl for their ID and y'all little girls lying about y'alls age," Jones said.

Jones is being held at the Bexar County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
