ATASCOSA COUNTY, Texas – The Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office said the emergency phone lines near Jourdanton have been cut.
A utility crew cut the fiber optic line Tuesday afternoon.

All 911 calls are being rerouted to the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office, which is relaying the information to Atascosa County dispatchers.
Anyone who needs a deputy for a non-emergency is being asked to call 911 until the phones lines have been restored.
Crews hope to have the lines back up and running by Tuesday evening.
