Reward increased in Seguin double homicide case

Mother, son found dead inside duplex on Nov. 6

SEGUIN, Texas – The Guadalupe County Crime Stoppers have increased the reward in a November double homicide case in Seguin.

The Seguin Police Department said a mother and son -- Belinda Sauceda, 64, and Jeremy Sauceda, 30 -- were found dead, with apparent gunshot wounds, in a duplex in the 500 block of E. Baxter Street on the morning of Nov. 6.

Police said they believe one of the two was targeted, but they are unsure why the other was also killed.

The reward in the case is now $15,000 as the homicide remains under investigation.

"There was no reason for this to happen, and we just want someone to come forward and do the right thing," Chief Kevin Kelso said.
