SAN ANTONIO – A Seguin police officer made two arrests Monday after she found a firearm and marijuana inside a car while making a traffic stop in front of Jefferson Elementary School.
The officer smelled marijuana coming from inside the vehicle, a Dodge Charger, which led her to search it. She found several baggies of marijuana under the passenger seat.
Wesley Allen Hollis, 27, and Cecily Ann Garza, 28, were both inside of the car and began accusing one another of being the owner of the marijuana.
While searching the vehicle further, the officer found a Baretta 22-caliber semi-automatic gun.
Hollis and Garza were charged with possessing marijuana at the Guadalupe County Jail and they may be facing more charges.
