SAN ANTONIO – A man was robbed when he arrived at a hotel room to meet a girl he knew online for sex, authorities said.
Fernando Gomez, 26, was arrested for robbing a man in a South Side hotel room.

Police said the victim went to the hotel to meet a girl he’d had sex with before and had met in a chat room.
Gomez paid for the room and went to the hotel with the girl. He told the 55-year-old victim he had a gun.
Police said Gomez punched the man in the face and hit him with his own backpack. He also took $120 in cash and stole the victim’s car.
