SAN ANTONIO – The boat show has returned to San Antonio, and it’s taking place this weekend at the Alamodome.

The show features more than just watercraft. Travel trailers are also on display.

Organizers said they wanted to focus on the whole family this year, so they created an area for kids, complete with a bounce house. The show even includes a fishing pond, fully stocked with fish, for the children,

“We want to get people and their family here,” organizer James White said. “(It’s) not just (a) day looking for the boat, or the mom and dad looking for the ski. You want something for the kids, as well. (It’s about) family.”

The event is scheduled to run until 9 p.m. Friday, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Each day, the first 100 cars will receive free parking.

Admission is $10 for adults and $6 for children.
