Motorcyclist killed in crash identified

Victim identified as Demis Munoz, 45

SAN ANTONIOUpdated Tuesday at 12:42 p.m.:

The Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office on Tuesday identified the victim as Dimas Munoz, 45.

The ME's Office said Munoz died of blunt force injuries.

Police said the victim wasn't wearing a helmet.

A motorcyclist was killed after losing control of his bike and crashing into a sign late Sunday night, San Antonio police said.

The accident occurred around 11 p.m. Sunday on St. Cloud Street, not far from Senisa Drive on the city's Northwest Side.

Police said the motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, was traveling southbound on St. Cloud Street when he lost control of his bike and hit a VIA bus sign, hitting his head. 

Emergency crews pronounced the man dead at the scene. 

Police said speed may have been a factor in the crash. 

The name of the man has yet to be released.
