SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Food Bank on Tuesday kicked off a partnership with Starbucks to help feed people facing hunger in San Antonio.

The Starbucks FoodShare program will donate nutritious, ready-to eat meals to the Food Bank.

"All of our product that would normally go to waste in our stores, 54 locations here in San Antonio, will be picked by the Food Bank and delivered to Saint Vinnie's Bistro, Haven For Hope, World Prospect Center," Starbucks regional director of operation Bertha Gonzaba said.

The San Antonio Food Bank is one of the first food banks in the nation to participate in the program.
