Released from jail after charge of child sex assault, man arrested for same crime

Jimmy Farias charged with continuous sexual abuse of a child

SAN ANTONIO – A man arrested in the fall of 2016 and charged with sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl has been arrested for allegedly committing the same crime, police said.

Jimmy Farias, 22, is behind bars again after San Antonio police said he sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl he met at a party in October, according to an arrest affidavit.

Weeks later the pair exchanged numbers before Farias picked up the girl, took her to a gas station and had sex with her, the arrest report said. Farias then drove the child to school.

The report concludes by stating that Farias met up with the girl twice this month and again the pair had sex.

Farias was first arrested in September after an arrest affidavit said he sexually assaulted another 13-year-old girl.
