Man shot in critical condition following argument, police say

Shooting was reported just after 11 p.m. near Loma Vista, S. Hamilton Ave

SAN ANTONIO – A man is in the hospital in critical condition after being shot following an argument overnight, San Antonio police said Thursday.

The shooting was reported just after 11 p.m. near Loma Vista and South Hamilton Avenue.

Police said they were patrolling the area when they heard the gunshots. Investigators said a man in his 20s was shot in multiple places, including both legs and his arm.

The man was taken to University Hospital for his injuries.

Police said the shooting stemmed from an argument that happened in the 3200 block of South Laredo.

Two potential witnesses were being uncooperative, police said.
