Suspect arrested for allegedly using stolen credit card

Dominic Propst, 23, charged with credit card abuse

SAN ANTONIO – Dominic Propst, 23, has been arrested for allegedly using a credit card stolen during a car burglary in Garden Ridge.

A 62-year-old man filed a report with Garden Ridge police Feb. 3, saying that someone had broken into his car and taken his credit card.

They later called San Antonio police for help after realizing the stolen card had been used at a store within their city limits to purchase about $400 worth of items.

The affidavit said that upon reviewing surveillance video of the credit card transaction, an SAPD detective immediately recognized Propst and identified him as a suspect.

Propst was taken into custody Thursday.
