Boy, 3, hospitalized after being hit by SUV on NW Side

SAN ANTONIO – A 3-year-old boy was rushed to the hospital after he was hit by an SUV on the city’s Northwest Side, police said.

The accident happened about 4:15 p.m. Monday in the 2000 block of Bandera Road in the parking lot of an apartment complex.

Police said the boy darted out in front of the SUV. He was taken to the hospital with head injuries.

Police are trying to figure out exactly how the accident happened. The driver is not expected to face any charges.
