Police looking for suspect in Wal-Mart robbery

Incident occurred March 6 in 8500 block of I-35 South

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Police Department and Crime Stoppers want the public’s assistance in tracking down the person responsible for an aggravated robbery.

The robbery took place Monday, March 6 at a Wal-Mart store located in the 8500 block of Interstate 35 South.

Police said the suspect was seen concealing merchandise in his pockets. Security at the store attempted to stop the suspect as he left, but a confrontation ensued where the suspect then cut one of the employees on the wrist with a knife before leaving.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect's identity or his whereabouts are urged to call Crime Stoppers at (210) 224-STOP.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
