SAN ANTONIO – Lots of visitors were eager to spend their day at the newly revamped Witte Museum on Tuesday.
Every Tuesday, the Witte allows free admission from 3-8 p.m. Some guests were willing to wait up to 45 minutes to get inside.
Visitor Jesse Baillers took his family to see the new exhibits and enjoy soaking up some free knowledge.
“I think it’s amazing,” he said. “They’ve done a lot of different stuff to (the museum), so I think it’s great.”
The Witte’s renovations came at a cost of $100 million. Along with the dinosaur exhibit, there is also a portion of the museum dedicated to the Texas sky.
