SAN ANTONIO – Two officers at the Bexar County jail were attacked by an inmate during a jail inspection, authorities said.
Carlos Long Jr., 22, now faces an added charge of assault of a public servant.

Investigators said the inspection happened in January. Long is accused of pushing an officer, hitting him in the face and then pinning him against a cell wall.
Another officer stepped in to help but was punched twice before Long was detained.
