City offers Free Landfill Day services to residents

Bulky items will be accepted

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Solid Waste Management Department will be accepting items that cannot be donated or recycled on Free Landfill Day.

The event will take place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

Residents can dispose of broken furniture, worn-out mattresses or other bulky items in need of disposal.

Participants must show proof of residency by providing their CPS utility bill, showing a solid waste fee, and a picture ID.

No contractor, commercial, industrial or hazardous waste will be accepted.
