$350,000 raised for local nonprofit organizations

Record-breaking amount raised at 2017 King and Queens of Good Hearts

SAN ANTONIO – A record-setting amount of money was raised for local nonprofit organizations in San Antonio at the 2017 King and Queens of Good Hearts Fun-Raiser.

More than $350,000 was raised at the event hosted by The PM Group and The Wood Agency in February.

The check for the annual charity gala was presented today, beating last year’s grand total by more than $100,000.

"We do a lot of work with Child Safe for child abuse and that's fantastic. Pet rescue is fantastic; our first responders doing things for them and the military,” said CEO of The PM Group, Bob Wills, in regards to all the organizations in San Antonio that this money will impact.

People from all over Texas came to support the Fun-Raiser and the Alamo City.
