AMBER Alert discontinued for missing West Texas teen

Police are looking for Zoey Alexis Limon, 13


MERKEL, Texas – An AMBER Alert was issued for a teen last seen in the small town of Merkel, Texas, Wednesday afternoon.

It was discontinued just after 3:30 p.m.

Police were looking for Zoey Alexis Limon, 13. She is described as Hispanic, 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 130 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She also has a “Princess” tattoo on her wrist.

It is possible that Limon is with three adults, police said.

The teen could have been with Adryana Elizabeth Limon, 33. She is described as 5 feet 3 inches and weighing 180 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a brown and black leopard print shirt.

Authorities are also looking for Jimmy Wayne McQueen, 26. He is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 163 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. He has a scar on his left ankle.

The third adult is Joe Damien Valdez, 18. He is 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.

The suspects were believed to be in a white and tan 1996 Chevrolet Suburban with Texas plate HRF-7519.

Merkel is located about 20 miles west of Abilene.
