SAN ANTONIO – A woman was arrested after she tried to cash a check that didn't belong to her, authorities said.
Michelle Paine, 36, is charged with forgery.

Police said in February, Paine attempted to cash two checks at the Broadway Bank on Huebner Road near Lockhill-Selma, but the teller became suspicious when Paine showed and ID that didn't exactly look like her.
Detectives later found that the checks had been stolen during a vehicle burglary.
