AMBER Alert discontinued for missing children from Freeport

Police were looking for 17-month-old Dominic Smith, 6-month-old Daniel Smith

FREEPORT, Tx – An AMBER Alert was issued for two missing children out of Freeport, Texas early Friday morning. It was discontinued at 5:34 a.m.

The Freeport Police Department had been searching for 17-month-old Dominic Smith and 6-month-old Daniel Smith.

Dominic Smith is three-feet tall weighing 45 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing a black shirt and shorts.

Daniel Smith is two-feet tall, weighs 30 pounds and has brown hair, blue eyes and was wearing a white shirt with orange stripes.

Police had been looking for both 26-year-old Ryan Smith and 20-year-old Ashley Smith in connection with their abduction.

Ryan Smith was found early Friday along with a red 1997 Jeep Cherokee. Police then searched for Ashley Smith who was believed to be with the children in a blue Toyota Corolla with the Texas license plate HTY5331.

Law enforcement officials said they believed the children to be in grave or immediate danger.
