Boerne police searching for burglar caught on camera

photo

BOERNE, Texas – The Boerne Police Department is asking for help in identifying a burglar who was caught on camera ransacking a business.

Investigators posted a video on the Police Department's Facebook page Friday. It's from inside the Smoothie King on West Bandera Road.

The video doesn't really give a good look at the man’s face as he searches through an office. But detectives are hoping someone can help them figure out who he is.

If you have any information, call Kendall County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-348-5323.

The Boerne Police Department needs your assistance in identifying the following person who committed a burglary of a building, being the Smoothie King located at 228 W. Bandera Road. Please note, we are aware of the limited identifying features of the person in this video. Unfortunately, this is the best video we have. We hope someone will recognize the Caucasian or Hispanic male, possibly bald/ shaved head with facial hair who was wearing boots (white trim down the side), possible dark colored Dallas Cowboy hat (Dallas star in the front with NFL shield logo on the back), dark jeans, and a black hoodie type jacket with grey polyester fur within the hood area. Height and weight are unknown. If anyone has information on the identity of this person, please contact Detective Ovidio Flores at 830-249-8645 or at oflores@ci.boerne.tx.us . If you wish to remain anonymous, please contact Kendall County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-348-5323 and you may receive a reward for any information that may lead to an arrest. Thank you for your assistance and stay safe.
