SAN ANTONIO – It's a first of its kind at Morgan's Wonderland. The ultra-inclusive park unveiled a waterproof wheelchair Friday for its soon-to-open water park.
Morgan's Wonderland founder Gordon Hartman said chairs like these have never before been produced. They're waterproof and much lighter than traditional wheelchairs.

Some include ventilators that some park-goers may need to accommodate their needs, and run on compressed air.
The idea is to allow anyone, no matter their special need, to be able to have access and have fun at the park.
"Whatever the status of their situation that may bring them to this park, we can make sure they can look at every addition to this park, called Morgan's Inspiration Island, and say, 'I can do that,'" Hartman said.
The Morgan's Wonderland water park, called Morgan's Inspiration Island, is expected to open in June.
Hartman said the waterproof chairs will also be mass-produced in Texas so they can be used by people with special needs all around the world.
