SAN ANTONIO – A half-million dollars will go to help an organization that helps people struggling with addiction.

Frost Bank and FHLB Dallas were able to give an affordable housing grant to the Adult and Teen Challenge of Texas.

The grant will help the men's quarters at the San Antonio campus get a new roof, air conditioning system and other items.

The faith-based organization said the upgrades will allow them to help more people.

"We teach the men and the women that God loves them, has plans for their life, that there's hope for them. That Jesus loves them. That there is a way to be delivered and get off the addiction," said Floyd Miles, of the Adult and Teen Challenge of Texas.

President Ronald Reagan called the organization the best kept secret in America. First established in 1957, there are now more than 200 centers across the country.
