Debrief: The state of news

SAN ANTONIO – Fake news has been a hot topic for months and reached its peak during last year's Presidential Election. 

Journalists everywhere are working hard to combat "fake news."

Here at KSAT 12, that mandate is a top-down mission, which includes the company that owns our station, Graham Media Group.

Our company's CEO, Emily Barr, was in San Antonio recently and we asked her to chat with us on-camera. 

She spoke about fake news, social media in today's landscape, and the future of local television news.
