Swastika formed from rocks at Houston-area high school

HOUSTON – Vandals on Friday used rocks outside Langham Creek High School that normally spell out the initials of the school to form a swastika.

A picture sent to Houston's KPRC 2 showed pieces of the LCHS lettering missing and the Nazi symbol underneath it.

Nicole Ray, a spokeswoman for the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District, said officials took immediate action to remove the rocks, and an investigation is being conducted.

“We are extremely disappointed by this horrible act of vandalism,” Ray said in a statement. “We will make every effort to apprehend and prosecute the perpetrators of this despicable crime.”

Ray asked anyone with information about the case to contact law enforcement.
