SAN ANTONIO – A man is in the hospital after being shot once in the hip overnight, San Antonio police said Tuesday.
The shooting was reported just before 3:30 a.m. in the 1800 block of Bandera Road, located on the city's Northwest Side.
Police said the suspect and the 23-year-old victim knew each other. Before the shooting, the suspect told the victim he was doing this "for what you did to my sister."
The suspect fled the scene with another man in a white car, police said.
The victim was taken to University Hospital in stable condition.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
