SAN ANTONIO – Two gunmen suspected in a double homicide on the city’s Southwest Side have been taken into police custody, officers said Tuesday.

Sebastian Sanchez and Christopher Vidales each face a murder charge. Sanchez's mug shot has not yet been released.

The San Antonio Police Department picked up Sanchez on Tuesday afternoon.

Vidales was picked up overnight while at the shooting scene on Nogalitos Street.

The two shooting victims have been identified as Oscar Huerta and Peter Rodarte. The gunfire between all four men broke out after Huerta accused Rodarte of selling his things, police said.

Vidales beat up Rodarte, officers said. Sanchez then fired three rounds at Rodarte, but missed, according to the SAPD.

Rodarte grabbed his gun, then shot and killed Huerta, police said, adding that Sanchez then fired at Rodarte, killing him.
