Love triangle leads to deadly shooting, man arrested

William Perkins Jr. facing criminal charges

SAN ANTONIO – A 39-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a deadly shooting early Wednesday that San Antonio police said stemmed from a love triangle.

Police said William Perkins Jr. had been arguing with a 27-year-man in the 200 block of WW White Road, then at some point pulled out a handgun. Police said Perkins fired six shots, killing the victim.

Officers found both men at the scene when they responded around 1:30 a.m.

They said the dispute was related to a love triangle.

Police said Perkins allegedly was involved in a relationship with a woman who was married to the man who was killed.

Perkins has been charged with murder. His bail is set at $150,000.
