Man douses himself in gasoline during domestic dispute on West Side

SAN ANTONIO – A man is facing possible domestic violence charges after threatening to set himself on fire Thursday night.

Police said they were called to the city's West Side, where the man let a victim go, but then doused himself with gasoline and barricaded himself at a storage unit off Culebra Road just outside 410.

Police said the man eventually surrendered peacefully and the fire department hosed him down.

He could now be facing domestic violence charges.
