Man killed after crashing car into tree

Speed possibly a factor, SAPD says

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police said a man was killed Saturday morning after crashing into a tree.

Police said the driver might have been speeding when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a tree.

Firefighters had to cut the man out of his vehicle. It took crews nearly 30 minutes to get the man out, officials said.

Officials said the man died in the ambulance on the way to the hospital.
