Man killed in attempted break-in on Aspen Farm identified


SAN ANTONIO – The Medical Examiner’s Officer released the name of a man who was shot dead after trying to break into a home Friday afternoon.

The medical examiner identified the man as 39-year-old James Anthony Craney.

The attempted break-in happened on Aspen Farm. A 7-year-old boy was in the backseat of Craney's car at the time of the incident.

The homeowner was taken in for questioning. Police have not said whether she will face any charges.
