Convicted sex offender from California arrested in SA for failing to disclose new address

SAN ANTONIO – A convicted sex offender who was supposed to be living in California was arrested at a San Antonio nursing home.

Frank McCall, 70, is a registered sex offender from California. He was convicted in 1984 for raping a 14-year-old girl.

McCall is required to let law enforcement know where he's living for the rest of his life. He was wanted for failing to do that and on a weapons charge.

The U.S. Marshals said McCall did not register when he came to San Antonio. Instead, authorities received a call that McCall was working and living at a nursing home on West Cypress.

Court documents say McCall may have been in San Antonio as far back as 2014. He's charged with failure to register as a sex offender and faces up to 10-years in prison.
