Police looking for suspect in April aggravated robbery

Incident occurred April 24 just after 1 p.m. at Glacier Water Station

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Police Department and Crime Stoppers want the public’s assistance in tracking down the person responsible for an aggravated robbery.

The incident occurred on April 24 just after 1 p.m. at the Glacier Water Station located in the 2500 block of Pleasanton Road.

Police said the elderly victim was filling water bottles at the location when the suspect hopped into the victim's running vehicle which was parked nearby. The suspect was driving away when the victim attempted to stop the suspect and was dragged a short distance, police said.

Video from a nearby business captured the individual prior to the robbery, police said.

Anyone with any knowledge of the crime is urged to call Crime Stoppers at (210) 224-STOP.

Tips can also be texted to CRIMES (274637) or by visiting the Crime Stoppers website.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
