Driver cleared after hitting pedestrian

Victim suffered multiple injuries

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police said a driver will not face charges after hitting a pedestrian Friday night. 

The driver told police he was stopped at a stoplight and began to turn left when he hit the man. 

The victim, 29, was taken to the hospital with multiple injuries, including head injuries. 

Police said the victim was not in a crosswalk and was wearing dark clothing. 

The accident happened near Bandera and Callaghan roads.

The driver told police he did not see the man.
