SAN ANTONIO – Animal Care Services is calling it an equine enigma.
Someone called them after finding a horse wandering near Harmony Baptist Church off of Old Corpus Christi Highway near Donop Road.

ACS believes the quarter horse is about 5 years old
She was wearing a green halter and trailing a lead rope and is friendly, but ACS says the sorrel mare has some minor lacerations and her hooves are in poor shape.
She has a brand on her left shoulder that appears to be the letter “K” inside the letter “D.”
Her rescuers searched the nearby area but were unable to fund her owner.
