Suspect sought in aggravated robbery of elderly woman

Incident occurred May 22 at Walgreens on Rittiman Rd

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Police Department and Crime Stoppers want the public’s assistance in tracking down the person responsible for an aggravated robbery.

The incident occurred May 22 around 6:20 p.m. at the front counter of a Walgreens located in the 6300 block of Rittiman Road.

Police said the suspect approached the 75-year-old victim from behind and knocked her down. While the victim was on the ground, the man forcibly took the woman's money out her hand and then fled on foot, police said.

Anyone with any knowledge of the robbery is urged to call Crime Stoppers at (210) 224-STOP.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
