SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Metropolitan Health District will be holding an event to rally the community in a 90-day peace initiative.
The event’s purpose is to prevent shootings and killings by promoting peace.

The first of three events will be held from 5-8 p.m. Friday evening at Lockwood Park on North Olive.
Trained workers will be there to talk about ways to change behaviors, thereby preventing violence.
