Man faces aggravated robbery charge after emptying register at previous job

It was discovered money in register was missing, police say

SAN ANTONIO – A man is accused of emptying a register at his old job.

Police said Omar Williams, 38, showed up at the Little Jamaica Bar and Grill on Walzem Road the night of May 31.

A man taking out the trash told police he ran into Williams coming in the back and told him he wasn't supposed to be there. Williams told him the owner said it was OK, pulled out a handgun and walked up to the front.

After Williams left, police said it was discovered all the money in the register was missing.

Williams faces an aggravated robbery charge.
