SAN ANTONIO – The owners of Ripley's Entertainment Complex in Alamo Plaza is marking its 30th anniversary in San Antonio by giving back to the community this weekend.

Members of the San Antonio Fire Department and their families will be allowed free admission beginning Friday through Aug. 31 at Tussaud's Waxworks, Ripley's Believe It or Not! Odditorium and Ripley's 4D Moving Theater Experience.

"The love and support shown by the San Antonio community to our department during these extremely trying days has been simply amazing," SAFD spokesman Joe Arrington said. "The generosity shown the SAFD by Ripley's is greatly appreciated, and we wish them a very happy 30th anniversary and many more years of being a San Antonio favorite!"

Other visitors can visit the three museums this weekend for a reduced price of $15.

Proceeds from this weekend will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of San Antonio.

The museums, which opened in 1987, are home to some of the biggest wax figures, including President Donald Trump, Pope Francis and Marvel superhero Captain America.
