SAN ANTONIOPart of Interstate 35 and Loop 410 were shut down for eight hours Saturday after the driver of an 18-wheeler overturned, spilling liquid on the road.

Authorities said the driver's load shifted, causing the trailer to flip onto its side on Loop 410 near the Interstate 35 interchange around 1:45 a.m..

The trailer was carrying plastic barrels with liquid inside, but hazmat crews said the liquid was not hazardous.

Interstate 35 was cut down to one lane and the exit ramp to Loop 410 East was shut down completely as crews worked to clear the mess. By noon, roadways were reopened.
