SAN ANTONIO –
A woman is accused of taking money from her employer for months before she was caught, police said.
Police said 26-year-old Adriana Alcantar altered the safe log sheets at her workplace.

Last month, the victim said she saw Alcantar altering the log and then throwing it away. The victim took the log out of the trash can and saw the changes, so she began looking into paperwork from past months.
Police said Alcantar altered the safe logs from November to May and was keeping the money. The victim said Alcantar stole more than $8,400.
Police said that during questioning, the suspect admitted to the crime.
