Man found on train tracks arrested

Man was highly intoxicated, says SAPD

SAN ANTONIO – A man managed to walk away unharmed from what could've been a deadly situation only to end up behind bars late Saturday night.

San Antonio police said the man was highly intoxicated and passed out on train tracks at the intersection of North Colorado and Leal streets.

The train engineer noticed the man and pulled the brakes. Police said the train moved over the man but did not hit him.

When police arrived and woke the man, officers said he had no idea he was underneath the train or how he got there.

The man got into a fight with police and was arrested.
