Man expected to recover after being shot in drive-by

Shooting was reported in 6000 block of Hidden Sunrise Dr

SAN ANTONIO – A man is expected to recover after being shot in the ankle overnight, San Antonio police said Monday.

The shooting was reported just before 11 p.m. Sunday in the 6000 block of Hidden Sunrise Drive, found not far from Mystic Sunrise Drive and Binz Engleman Road on the city's Northeast Side.

Police said when they arrived they found the man shot and shell casings in the street.

The victim said he did not see who shot him, only that the shooting was done by someone inside a vehicle.

The victim was taking to San Antonio Military Medical Center for his injuries.

So far no arrests have been made in the case.
