$700K in meth seized at Laredo port of entry

CBP officers find 15 bottles of meth at Lincoln-Juarez International Bridge


LAREDO, Texas – U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers recently seized 39 pounds of liquid methamphetamine at a Laredo port of entry.

The seizure happened July 4 at the Lincoln-Juarez International Bridge when a CBP officer referred a 2007 Chrysler Sebring for a secondary examination.

A physical inspection of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of 15 bottles containing the drug, officials said.

The seizure had an estimated street value of $784,837, officials said.
