Suspect facing charges after kidnapping, beating man on West Side

Hector Javier Isaac Jr. has been taken into custody

SAN ANTONIO – A Bexar County man is facing charges after holding a man against his will and attacking him on the West Side, an arrest warrant affidavit says.

According to the affidavit, Hector Javier Isaac Jr. is charged with aggravated kidnapping and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Detectives say Isaac kidnapped his victim and took him to an abandoned home in the 600 block of Limestone Flat. That's where, the affidavit says, the victim was beaten and forced to take drugs.

Investigators said two other suspects were also involved in the attack and that the victim was eventually taken to his mother's house in an attempt to acquire money.

It was the mother at the home who called 9-1-1.
