Car crashes through front of dry-cleaning business on Northwest Side

There were people inside working, but no one was hurt

SAN ANTONIO – A dry-cleaning business on the Northwest Side has a lot of cleaning up to do after a car crashed through the front of the building Friday afternoon.

The incident happened around 2 p.m. in the 1800 block of Vance Jackson Road.

Police said a woman was trying to park in front of USAVE Dry Cleaners when her car slammed into the building. There were people inside working, but no one was hurt.

Police said the 70-year-old driver told them her brakes failed. There was no word whether she got a ticket.
